At NRA Computer Sales & Service we inform you of the pitfalls and the technical issues of buying a computer system or upgrading your old one in plain English.  We pride ourselves on having the best service for repairs & upgrades on your current computer systems.

  • We advise you on how to avoid having to throw away expensive components because of future incompatibility. Beware of computer dealers who try to clear their stocks of old technology. Standard Pentium MMX machines are no longer today's minimum requirement.
  • Stay away from the brand name systems and their non-standard cases. You cannot upgrade many of these machines as they will not accept new motherboards or faster processors.  They may say it is upgradable but ask the question?
  • Can the processor (which is the brain of the computer) be upgraded without changing other expensive parts.
  • Will the upgrade components be available on the market for the next 2 to 5 years.
  • How much will it cost to upgrade the processor speed ( for example by 200MHZ )
  • How much is the cost for repairs after the warranty period has ended - The only way to find out is to call as an old customer and ask how much it costs to replace a faulty part.
  • e.g.: to replace a floppy disk drive in an apple ( tm ) power Mac can cost approx. $ 120.00 + installation cost of $ 50.00 total  = $ 170.00  ) RTB ( Return To Base )
  • To replace a floppy disk drive in one of our computer systems approx. $ 40.00 for the drive + installation cost of $ 30.00 total = $ 70.00 RTB ( Return To Base )
  • NRA Computer Sales provides quality Computer Systems and accessories. We take that extra step to make sure what we sell is the best quality available.
  • We sell computer systems with Intel Pentium II & III, Intel Pentium Xeon and Intel Pentium II Celeron, also available -  Cyrix & AMD processors.
  • We can offer you competitive prices on printers, scanners, hard disk drives, Monitors,  Video cards, CD ROM's, CD writers and all other computer peripherals -  in fact we feel very confident in providing a solution to any computer problem you may have.
